Eating Disorder & Mental Health Specialists
Welcome to Bardwell Behavioral
How May We Help You?
Our team at Bardwell Behavioral represents a diverse staff with experience treating a wide array of life stressors and mental illnesses. Our goal is to provide a safe space for all to heal – we look forward to getting to know you and working together.
Eating Disorders
Eating Disorders have the highest mortality rate of any other psychiatric illness (aside from the recent increase of opioid related deaths). Eating Disorders are not a choice or a “phase” and typically do not get better without the help of an eating disorder professional, as well as other multidisciplinary team members (dietitians, prescribers, medical doctors). If you don’t “feel ready”, that’s ok. We will meet you where you are, and start with general education or related goals that feel like a more comfortable starting place.
Anxiety & Depression
What if there was less stigma surrounding seeking support for mental well-being? What if it was expected that everyone have a therapeutic evaluation in the way it’s encourage for everyone to see a Primary Care Physician (PCP)? —Per the CDC, 41.5% of adults are currently struggling with an anxiety or depressive disorder. We saw an increase in anxiety and depression of 25%, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting social and medical restrictions. You are not alone – we are here to help!
