Beth is a highly seasoned therapist, lecturer, author, and consultant with a national reputation for clinical expertise in the field of eating and body-related disorders.
Beth has nearly three decades of experience helping people heal and thrive. She provides a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate space for clients to open up and be themselves. She integrates cutting-edge therapies and ACT, DBT, and CBT to help clients manage self-defeating thoughts, eliminate unhealthy behaviors, and empower themselves to live life according to their innermost desires.
Beth has a specific passion for treating adults who struggle with overeating behaviors. She has a unique skillset to be able to help clients who are considering taking or weaning off GLP-1 drugs, and those needing support before or after bariatric surgery.
Beth is also skilled at helping adult women facing major life transitions, specifically those who are either considering, going through, or trying to heal from divorce.
Beth is a graduate of Stanford University, received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina, and her Certification as an Eating Disorder Specialist from the International Association of Eating Disorder Specialists.
Beth previously owned an outpatient center for eating disorders in South Carolina, and after selling it in 2015 and making the decision to leave her position as Executive Director in 2018, decided to follow her own advice and pursue her dreams.
Beth now lives in NYC (her hometown) with her cat, Lil. She spends her time wandering through museums, taking pictures, bird watching in Central Park, disco dancing, and hanging out with her daughter who lives in Brooklyn.
