Michael is a Master level social worker currently working toward independent licensure. Michael received undergraduate degrees from the University of Vermont and completed their graduate degree in social work at Simmons University. Michael has extensive practice experience working with adolescents, adults, families, and groups and is excited to bring that experience to Bardwell Behavioral.
Michael’s practice draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Michael’s practice involves supporting patients in identifying distressing thinking patterns and building skills to live a life in line with their values and long-term goals. Michael has found success in supporting patients struggling with: Eating Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Mood-Instability, Low Self-Esteem, Substance Use, and Trauma.
Outside of Work Michael can be found spending time outdoors, making music, spending time with family, or spending time with his cats, Raury and Oswald.
