Lamia Yopp M.S, LADC, is an innovative and passionate clinician who works tirelessly to ensure her clients find a safe and meaningful therapeutic “home”. She has two master’s degrees: one in forensic psychology from Liberty University and the other in clinical mental health counseling from Post University.

With this in mind, she employs diverse therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Gestalt therapy. Lamia creates a therapeutic setting that is warm, collaborative, and welcoming. This is achieved through her multicultural background, lived experience, empathy, and relatability.
Lamia’s skillset is multi-faceted as she has expertise in providing behavioral health services to adolescent and adult individuals who are dealing with substance use disorders, eating disorders, school avoidance and refusal, depression, and anxiety. She also enjoys working with couples on improving communication and relationship satisfaction.
Furthermore, Lamia also specializes in assisting those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and encountering difficulties related to their sexual orientation or gender identity.
In her “free” time, Lamia’s leisure activities include reading, socializing with her family, acquiring new skills and attending concerts.
