In-clinic sessions

Due to our desire to prioritize safety and well-being, all sessions are currently virtual, with the exception of those scheduling for Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) session. ART sessions are always in-person and take place in our Connecticut location.

Remote sessions

Recent research has begun to show that tele-health can be just as effective in most situations, and has broken access barriers for many folks who would otherwise not be able to benefit from the experience of individual and/or family outpatient therapy services. Come and experience the gift of healing from the comfort of your own home! Schedule an appointment today or contact us for further info.

Treatment Specialties

Eating Disorders

Eating Disorders have the highest mortality rate of any other psychiatric illness (aside from the recent increase of opioid related deaths). Eating Disorders are not a choice or a “phase” and typically do not get better without the help of an eating disorder professional, as well as other multidisciplinary team members (dietitians, prescribers, medical doctors). If you don’t “feel ready”, that’s ok. We will meet you where you are, and start with general education or related goals that feel like a more comfortable starting place.

Anxiety & Depression

What if there was less stigma surrounding seeking support for mental well-being? What if it was expected that everyone have a therapeutic evaluation in the way it’s encourage for everyone to see a Primary Care Physician (PCP)?

ADHD

Research shows that the highest probability for improved attention, impulsivity and frustration tolerance come from using a combination of talk therapy and psychopharmaceutical interventions.

Trauma & PTSD

Unresolved and/or complicated trauma can lead to the development of an Acute Stress Disorder or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder impacting your ability to function at work, home and/or socially and result in depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, eating disorders and/or substance abuse, among many other difficult life experiences.

Substance Abuse

No one wakes up one day and thinks to themselves, “I think I’m going to become an addict today!” Substance Use Disorders often begin with folks using substances to simply feel “better” – to numb pervasive physical and/or emotional pain and over time, their substance use is uncontrolled despite resulting in physical and/or emotional harm as well as potential legal consequences.
