Aziza Harrell, LPCA, Therapist

Aziza Harrell

THERAPIST

Aziza is a therapist who is passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. While she enjoys working with individuals from all backgrounds and life experiences, she has a particular interest in supporting eldest siblings, adults learning to establish healthy boundaries, and individuals navigating concerns related to body image and self-esteem.

Aziza enjoys helping clients explore how family roles, relationships, expectations, and past experiences have shaped the way they view themselves and interact with others. She is especially passionate about working with individuals who are accustomed to being “the strong one” or caring for everyone around them, helping them learn to prioritize their own emotional needs without guilt. She also supports clients in developing healthier relationships with their bodies, strengthening self-worth, and moving toward greater self-acceptance.

Aziza’s therapeutic approach is person-centered, collaborative, and culturally responsive. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and elements of family systems work to meet each client’s individual needs. She believes therapy should provide clients with both a safe place to process their experiences and practical tools they can use to create meaningful change in their everyday lives.

Aziza earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and has experience providing individual and group counseling to adolescents and adults.

Outside of therapy, Aziza enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, and spending time with her dog. She values laughter, meaningful connections, and finding balance in everyday life.
