Marion Jackson

THERAPIST

Marion is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), having received her master’s degree in social work from Fordham University and her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. Her rich and diverse passions and background is in treating individuals with substance use disorders, eating disorders, depression, anxiety and chronic illness. Marion uses her clinical skills and personal experiences to form meaningful connections with all of her clients. 

Additionally, she brings a valuable skillset to her work as a therapist as she has worked as a yoga, mindfulness and meditation teacher since 2004 and when appropriate, her sessions are informed by these practices and ways of living.

Marion’s mission as a therapist is to create a safe, comfortable container for each client’s unique path to wellness, self-compassion and self-discovery. With a passion for helping others to heal, she has a continual eye to new therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices. She aims to uphold each client’s personal goals, and to celebrate their differences in a way that is always non-judgmental. Marion currently lives in the woods of rural Connecticut. An eternal student, she has also studied sound healing in Nepal, and philosophy at Ananda Ashram (Yoga Society of New York), the University of Chicago and UC Berkeley.
